We bought 3 domain names and invested money in printing and making products and without informing use this cheat company godaddy sold SOLD our website name domain name to someone and now they selling it

How can they do that complete CHEAT FRAUD company beware we lost money because of them CHEAT company they will sell your date for money that is business they do beware

Not good company for doing any business with them

First I have been with GoDaddy for 4 years. First year was discounted so the 2nd year my price increased 38%. The third year it increased 25% and the 4th year it increased another 25% and why it went up those two years I don't know. I checked before I renewed the 4th year and a support person said it was the same as the the third year. HA. This would have been my 5th year but they have changed the plans so if you want SSL and SEO then you have to change to a whole new plan or pay extra (alot) to get those features. Biggest problem is new plan templates are CRAP and nothing that will work for me plus all the extra work to make a new website. The new plan is the same price as I paid for this but I bet this years price is likely to go up again as it has every year in the past. Called support and all he said was it's like changing Iphones. Really I know nothing about Iphones and I was not calling about an Iphones and I don't care about Iphones. Anyway he said too bad change to a different, company if I don't like GoDaddy. I waited 20 minutes on support and that was the answer I got. So I would NOT recommend GoDaddy - too many prices changes, most support is terrible (I did get one gal one time that was helpful) and they change things so it causes the user more headaches and problems. I would suggest you skip GoDaddy and shop elsewhere.

Dont ever think to deal with godaddy

The worst ever company you can deal with, dont think or waste your time before money with such service provider, because they dont have aservice to provide

My subscription had lapsed by two…

My subscription had lapsed by two months.When I called to renew, the agent I spoke with was amazing. She was able to secure my website name for an additional 5 years.Great communication, knowledgeable and very polite. I would highly recommend Go Daddy to anyone

N0 FREE Trial

Great experience purchasing my Domains, BUT...Need to have the ability to pay for the WEB Site Services right away, and add a Month, or cancel after 30 days. A free trial just adds another date to keep track of. Wanted to pay right after building the WEB Site.

Good range of services but average support

Good range of services but average customer experience. Technical Support service is very difficult to get hold of. its as if they don't want to talk to you unless they want to sell you something. the migration to Microsoft 365 email solution has been a pain.

GoDaddy Cost My Business Thousands

BEWARE - i have an ultimate hosting package with GoDaddy with 3 websites, 3 SSL's, emails etc...

I contacted them yesterday to say that i would like to add 2 emails and could they delete 1 of my websites as i no longer use it as i closed that business down.

They deleted the website but then my other 2 websites went down without any warning, i asked the agent what happened and he said because ive deleted it ive had to switch some things round and its just an SSL error but don't worry please allow some time for the SSL to propagate and it could take a maximum of 24 hours!

Oh my god i panicked i have 50 staff selling through 1 website and over 5,000 Active customers!

On my other website i have 20 staff selling through the website and over 2,500 Active customers!

I decided that there was something not right going on so i contacted goDaddy again and was told there were errors with my sites, ssl errors, index errors, pointing errors etc, after a few hours the website with 50 staff selling through it was back up and running but the other website was not.

I spent 5 hours 51 minutes on the phone yesterday with GoDaddy and then i gave up when they finally put my website back up but the payment gateway was broken and the logo was broken and the last agent i was speaking to was freaking out as he couldnt fix the issue, the last call was 1 hour 31 minutes i was left on hold that long that the hold music stopped playing and the phone went silent so i decided to go to bed and call early the following day and start this all over again.

This is now day 2 so i have woken up early and contacted GoDaddy as 1 of my websites is still not fixed and i need to contact my staff this morning and tell them not to come into work as we have no website.

I asked to speak to a Supervisor to lodge a formal complaint as this has now cost me a lot of money and time, i am still assessing the damage to my business as i have received several customer complaints, my staff are unable to work and i have lost revenue in the excess of between £5,000 to £10,000 already.

After 55 minutes i was transferred to a Supervisor where i expressed to lodge a formal complain he listened to what i had to say but did not ask me specific questions like when you normally lodge a complaint you would normally fill out a form but this was not done, basically to cut this short, they gave me 3 options to fix the problem and 2 of those options where for me to pay and fix it myself! Last option was for them to fix it but it could take up to 3 days to fix!

This now going to ruin my business, all businesses have had it hard due to Covid and now for this to happen is just Bad Luck, no compensation was mentioned, no proper official complaint procedure, i literally feel like i have been raped by these guys and they are smiling at me saying hahaha their is nothing you can do about it...

I will contact my Solicitor at 9am and i am 100% fighting these guys in Court for this even it kills me and destroys all my businesses...

Only purchased domains so far

I have only used go daddy so far to secure domain names. But they seem to be very helpful and I look forward to using their services more in the future.

Godaddy Big Disappointment

I use godaddy as host for my store website as well as domain and for over 2 years there's issues with server platforms, etc. Instead of head office listen to the thousands of customers complaining regarding same or similar issues, they choose to ignore, and service kept getting worse, while price increases, and more marketing campaigns, even though product services are not reliable. My business had suffered in more ways than one because of Godaddy technical issues.

Website design

I will not recommend any one to buy Go daddy services as they are very cold with customer service reply. Sorry we can't help you. One the payment is made they would put all the data on a page as given and call it as designed website. Very poor creativity, poor staff and very poor designing website.

Malicious & Greedy

First, GoDaddy completed SEO work on my behalf. However, because they failed to gather all of the appropriate information and neglected to inform me of their strategy, their work was in error and nearly useless. When I complained, they stated that they would only help if I purchased additional services. This was clearly stated on numerous occasions. This is extortion.

Now, as I attempt to move my website to WordPress, they have completely taken down my site. On my accounts page, there are several different charges for different features. Now that my site has been completely removed, I am being told that what was described as just an editing tool is really the entire site itself. They refused to return my site for even a short period of time and also refused to refund the charges I just paid.

Their business practices are disgusting at best and maliciously misleading at worst. They have no interest in abiding by information initially provided and only care about the amount of additional dollars they can extract from small business owners.

THE WORST COMPANY WE HAVE DEALT WITH EVER!

Where shall I start okay here it goes.

Our web developer purchased our domain name on our behalf in August 2020. In March 2021 we found that our emails are not working and was later told by the web developer that they had suspended his account including the domain name which happened to be in his go daddy account. Okay I phoned numerous times I'd say around 41 phone calls to them. Emailed everyone in go daddy. I also sent proof to them for the domain name to be transferred to us which they emailed saying it's validated and they will send in 1 hour once the customer account number has been sent over to them so they can do the transfer. 24 hours later still nothing. Phoned them still not being resolved. This is caused a lot of anxiety and stress to the Buisness as our website and domain has been shut down. All our enquiries are being blocked and our employees are stuck as we cannot send over the information needed for the day to day work schedules to the emails. 72 hours later we phoned again as they said you will get a response via email from *******@GODADDY. During the phone call we were told that our domain has been blocked due to spam, Phishing. We don't send spam our marketing emails at all as we are a construction company. Our emails are being sent via GOOGLE WORK PLACE and they have stated there is nothing you are sending in regards to spam. So we are then 4 weeks later we are told the web developers account is suspended permanently with any domain names associated with his account. Firstly our web developer is trash and you should never let your web developer purchase the domain name on your behalf. Secondly GO DADDY ARE EVEN THE TRASHY AS THE AGENTS ARE WORST AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO RESOLVE ANY TECHNICAL ISSUES. THEY ALL LIE AND MAKE UP STORIES. THEY STILL HAVE NOT TOLD US WHAT THE ACTUALLY REASON FOR THIS IS. PLEASE STAY WAY FROM THEM AS YOU WILL ALL REGRET LATER I CAN ENSURE YOU THAT. THE FAR WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD WITH A COMPANY EVER. THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN TO COURT FOR CAUSING PEOPLES BUISNESS INTERRUPTION. I HAVE EVEN HAD TO GET OUR LAWYER INVOLVED AS THIS HAS CAUSED NOTHING BUT STRESS AND ANXIETY TO OUR BUISNESS. WE HAVE BEEN IN A PANDEMIC SINCE 2019 AND THEY SHOULD UNDERSTAND NOT TO DO THIS TO A BUISNESS AND THEY SHOULD RESOLVE THE MATTER WHAT EVER IT IS. WORST EVER. SCAM COMPANY STAY AWAY FEOM
THEM.

The customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced. Go daddy does not responded to emails and their help for their site terrible
